We’re excited to announce the evolution of 98 Performance.
98 Performance 2.0 will see the addition of an advanced finisher (Tier 1), to go along with the current finisher (Tier 2). The reasoning behind the addition of the advanced finisher is to expose seasoned and experienced members to more complex athletic development movements.
These movements will include Olympic lifts, the clean, the snatch, and their derivates. They will be utilised to develop coordinated strength and power output, as adjuncts to the compound strength movement of the day.
You may have questions such as ‘who should do the advanced finisher’ or ‘when do I know if I’m ready to do the advanced finisher?’. The answer is quite simple – when movement proficiency is at a level that justifies participation! When the technique is developed so that the activity can be done with perfect form and safely.
Remember, developing perfect form on the Olympic lifts is a lifelong journey, however, if you consistently strive for technical proficiency over putting weight on the bar, the journey becomes easier.
