Inside 98: Why We're Taking You Behind the Scenes on YouTube
Our YouTube channel has always been a resource. Now it's becoming something more - a window into the people, culture and energy that make 98 what it is.
98 Training has always believed that what happens inside our gyms is worth sharing. YouTube has long been the home for that kind of resource. The movement library, the education content, the programming philosophy. A place to learn, to reference, to grow.
What it hasn't always been is personal.
Over the past few months, we've begun releasing a new style of content on the channel: longer, vlog-style videos that bring you inside 98 in a way our other platforms simply can't.
We've captured a Wednesday morning 9am ESD with coaches and long-time members, the kind of session where the effort is genuine and the relationships built over years of shared training are on full display. We've gone behind the scenes of the inaugural 98 Games pairs event test run, documenting the problem-solving and quiet determination that goes into building something at that scale. We've followed the filming of our affiliate relaunch campaign, the movement standards shoot for the 98 Games, and a members' training session that showed exactly the kind of work that earns a place on the competition floor.
And then there was the Saturday ALL IN fundraiser. A day that didn't need any explanation once you watched it. A community rallying around one of their own, because that's what 98 does.
It's a side of 98 that has always existed but rarely been seen. YouTube gives us a way to change that. To let the community see the people behind the programming, the events and the brand in a new way.
If you haven't subscribed yet, now's the time. The best is still to come.
