Fear is one of our primary drivers, it is a fundamental element within our ancient primitive instinct for survival… Procrastination (utilising distraction) is a fear-based avoidance behaviour we often use in an attempt to delay or avoid future discomfort.
Once we reduce the friction and fear threshold of action against inaction, we can reduce the level of procrastination and avoidance of the activity. This will lead to positive motivation and confronting more of the meaningful challenges that are going to provide us with greater life satisfaction and fulfilment.
