This weekend we took two teams down to our friends gym in Canberra, Project Fitness. Every year they run a competition where people from around Australia travel down there and compete in a team event. This years event saw a team of four, two guys and two girls, work their way through this workout.
Workout
For Time
4 Rounds
3km Bike Erg
50 x Burpee Broad Jumps
Then
800m Team Run
Rules
1. Every member of team must complete the Burpee Broad Jumps.
2. 1st person back from the BBJ can start on the bike.
3. Workout finishes when all 4 team members cross the line after the run.
Our two teams looked like this;
Team 1 – Zoe Powell, Sarah Dunne , Libby Moore & Dan Potter.
Team 2 – Kate Hilliard, Aneka Reid, Matt Chapman & Franco Morris.
It was a massive effort from both teams. We came in 2nd and 3rd. The Royal Military College Duntroon came in 1st beating our first team in by 1 second.
Team 98 did us proud and as always held the standard of 98.
As well as been great for team spirit, these type of events are important because they give us chance to test ourselves. It helps us see where we need to work harder and where our hard work has paid off. If you don’t know where you are, in regards to your strengths and weakness…how can you be sure where to go with your training?
A new week starts tomorrow. Do the work.
